The Pittsburgh Keystones made the Queens Pride look more like the Princesses Mild Self-Satisfaction tonight in their own house. Seven Keystones players notched points in the double digits, with Alan Murphy (Kangaroo, F) only a single shot away from making it an even two-thirds of the team. Shirley Takamoto (Jaguar, F/G) alone racked up 16 points in the game's opening 8 minutes, and then left the game when her handpaw went from being figuratively on fire to literally inflamed. After a performance like that your handpaw would be inflamed, too. Despite her early departure, it was still enough to earn the Hot Spot her Player of the Game honors.

On the New York end of the court, Takamoto's opposite Micah Davenport (Border Collie, F/G) never recovered from the early demoralization and landed only two shots all night. Adam Tevela (Linsang, F) and company did their best to make up for Doggenport's lackluster game but ultimately came up short by a final margin of 128-107.
