PLEASE READ - End of Year Meeting and Moving Forward

Postby admin » April 15th, 2017, 2:30 pm

Hi all,

Thank you for bearing with us during this transitional time. It's been a rocky last couple of days, but we think we finally have all the kinks ironed out.

We know there's been a lot of concern over recent game posts, and not just the ones posted for March 20/21. Many coaches didn't have a chance to update their lines before new games were posted, and it caused some tension and frustration among the administrators of teams who had members injured because they didn't have a chance to fix things before the next games were posted.

There's also been a concern about the current state of the engine, based on the last two games which were posted. As we're working out the kinks, we're discovering other bugs on the wiki that affected gameplay recently. As such, we will be taking the following actions to rectify these recent issues.

1. We will be entirely re-rolling March 20 and 21.
Since the last results, we have updated the engine to be more consistent with the most recent engine. We want to provide realistic data that reflects the current state of teams.

As such, headcoaches are asked to move back to their March 20/21 lines. We appreciate your patience as we get the engine to a place where everyone is satisfied.

2. We will be wiping the injury board clean.
Because of the recent issues, we don't think it's fair to hold teams to the injuries incurred because of lack of updates when games were posted. This is the most fair way we can rectify this issue while still moving ahead.

3. We will be having a community meeting ASAP.
If you haven't already done so, please fill out the questionnaire that was sent out recently. Even if you don't have any suggestions to submit, at the very least let us know about your availability so we can get as many people as possible at the meeting. It is imperative that we regroup and all are on the same page as we move forward through the end of the season and beyond.

The poll can be found here:

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me or any of the committee members regarding these actions or any other issues, no matter how big or small.
