This is here to make canon notes with the Minutemen.
Leonard Mack and Vera La Tierra
In July during the middle of the FBA Finals, Leonard and Vera left on a trip to Puerto Rico. Their times on the beach were wonderful but the trip was not completely without drama. It also helped Vera and Leonard experience another important point in their relationship. At a couple of times during the vacation, Leonard debates on his most important part, but something interrupts him. With no interruptions, and on a sunset-bathed beach, Leonard proposed to Vera and she accepted. The two returned to Williamsburg the next day.
The elephant is recovering and rehabilitating from his knee surgery. He wants to remain active and possibly within the Williamsburg organization as an advisor. However, he won't reneg on his promise to retire. He lives outside of town at his home of 10 years.
Crystal returned to Huntsville at points to see her father Healey. While she enjoys being with him and the attention, she didn't care for the questions about her playing poorly in the city. She heard the rumor that Tina McCall was offered a walk-on deal with the Minutemen and was very heartened by the news. She has offers to consider from four teams, however, and continues to do so.
Karen's former niece, who moved back to Williamsburg after her season living out of an apartment in Lexington, Kentucky, has received a walk-on offer to return to the team. She's extremely excited about that and looking forward to resuming her pro career. She knows she won't get much playing time, but she doesn't really care.
The lioness negotiated her sign and trade deal with the Kahunas and Minutemen and agreed to a 4-year, $25 million deal and reported to Williamsburg. She decided to have her number changed to 0 for a couple of reasons: "I hadn't got any offers before WIlliamsburg wanted me, and frankly, their number font is really funky."
The arctic vixen has realized that she hasn't gotten an offer from the Minutemen to return. Not only has this casued tension between her and her husband, but it makes her realize if she wants to continue her career, she's going to have to rely on a year in the D-League if she wants to keep her skills truly sharp. If not, her career in the FBA is probably over.
