MigeYeFoxe's Campaign

Hello, I am MigeYeFoxe, I've been the one maintaining the player Stats and Metrics tables for the past two years. I am also one of the people were on the committee for the 2015-2016 season. I'd like to think that I've been approachable enough for everyone and do my best to try and maintain an open m...

2016 Playoff Predictions

That time of year again, so time to brush off your prognotiscating skills. Like usual this is only for fun only, no money involved. Rules are very straight-forward: for each match-up pick who you think will win and what game you think they'll win. Round 1 is worth 1 point, Quarterfinals are worth 2 ...

NaNoWriMo 2015

Just wondering if anyone here is intending to participate in it this year or not. Figure we can use this thread to keep track of our own personal progress and be a support group for the challenge. For those not in the know, NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writer's Month, where over the course ...

2015 Playoff Predictions

So it's that time of the year again. Time to pick your bracket on who you think will win each and every match-up for the 2015 FBA Playoffs. Nothing at stake here, just bragging rights and something to do. Same rules as last year: You fill out who you think will win each match-up for the entire brack...

Raising the Stakes

((Bit delayed and was supposed to be a comic but motivation issues ensued so you get short story a week late instead.)) Fremont Palace, Las Vegas, April 3, 2015 “Come on, just a little more. Don’t fall on me now,” A feminine voice speaks up, talking not to a person so much as a thing. Kresta had onc...

Re: Twitter OOC Comment Thread

Though Congratulations to Jake Turner for being the first player this season to make 40 points this season as well as breaking the record for most FG in a single game set all the way back in the Howlereen CSL. On top of that he is also the first player this season to break the 1000 FGA milestone.

Re: Twitter OOC Comment Thread

Well part of it is that not all OOC content is intended for DM's. Some, like the "this reminds me of this video" is meant to be taken more publicly, thus the reason for this. For the ability to publicly post responses. We'll just have to see if it actually gets adopted or is just a flash i...

Twitter OOC Comment Thread

Figure we have it so might as well use it. This is a thread intended to try and reduce the amount of OOC twitter posts being made. Have some comment to something said or done on twitter that you want to say? Post it here. Have a comment about a discussion about what's going on? Post it here. Anythin...

ASW Charity Event Idea

So I was thinking of having a sort of charity event in San Jose outside of the normal ASW events, created and run by the players. Basically it'd be a simple, light-hearted game with four 8 min quarters. Each player wanting to play would put in ten grand into the prize pool. At the end of the game, t...

Re: Copyrights and IP, references, and publishing.

Pretty sure it'd be creative commons. There was a point where Buck was trying to gather up all the rights so that it could be potentially sold as an actual video game but that project was dropped and rights given back to owners. For the most part to help encourage content the extent is basically jus...

Re: What to do next?

You are sort of. There's already been 17 games done this season. So you are way too late to get a character in for this season. You do still have the option to get a character in for the draft for the 2015-2016 season, but since we aren't even a quarter into this one, it's a bit too early to really ...

Re: Players Throughout FBA History!

In a story unwritten due to motivation constraints I had Fit talk of a player from the 70's he used as a model, heralding him as the best ball handler the FBA had ever seen. Anton "Arms" Drinel Position: Point Guard Height: 5'10" Weight: 170 lbs Species: Orangutan Birthplace: New York...

Game Predictions

A bit late for starting this but last year there were a number of us who would make predictions on who we think would win, with no prize involved other than bragging rights. So finally got around to getting it set up for this year's games. Currently the predictions are held at http://furrybasketball...

After the drills were done Kresta put back on her street clothes and went outside to think. After about ten minutes of being outside Bob decides that it is high time that she go out and check in on Kresta and make sure that everything is okay. Stepping outside it is clear that the sun has already se...

Re: Kresta in Basketball Boot Camp

For the next drill a bunch of the trainers were out on the court, each and every one of them carrying some sort of large air gun. All twenty of them are told to stand in a line side by side, one of the trainers stepping up to address them, one hand on the trigger to the air canon. “Now, before we be...

Re: Kresta in Basketball Boot Camp

“The average guard is what, three, maybe four inches taller than you?” the collie asks while getting up finally to go and retrieve the balls that Kresta had shot so far so that she can stay on the line. “There abouts I guess,” Kresta shrugs and shoots again, not giving the trainer any mind and not e...
